Yes. If vertigo therapy takes place as part of medically prescribed physiotherapy (e.g., physical therapy) or occupational therapy, the costs are covered by statutory health insurance (GKV) as well as private health insurance (PKV). Statutory insurance holders only pay the regular statutory co-payment, unless an exemption applies.

For regular billing through statutory or private health insurance, a medical prescription for physiotherapy or occupational therapy is strictly required. Without a medical prescription, many practices can only provide information on preventive services or consultations. In Germany, therapeutic treatment without a prescription is also possible with therapists who hold the additional qualification of a sectoral alternative practitioner (physiotherapy). These services are generally billed privately as self-pay.

The IVRT® offers a modern blended learning concept. Certain theoretical foundations and preparatory modules are completed flexibly online. However, the intensive practical examination and treatment techniques are trained in-person on site in Lower Saxony (two blocks of two days each from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM) in order to guarantee the highest quality of treatment.

In addition to our in-person foundation courses, we offer specialized advanced courses:
